School, from the Greek skholḗ, which surprisingly has the meaning of idleness, of free time, spent on the leisure of the mind.
This is the purpose of Scuola ForestaMi, a space where you can find all the ForestaMi initiatives - collected and free- aimed at promoting, spreading and making known the great world of trees and the many and varied benefits connected to urban reforestation. A project, but also an open and passionate network of people and entities with the belief for shared, pervasive and inclusive knowledge.
WHO IS IT FOR
Scuola ForestaMi aims to involve students from all types and levels of schools, with contents and projects that combine knowledge, exchange and participation. A project designed for the generations that will hold the future of the planet and our country in their hands, contributing with their ideas, behaviour and actions to the protection of the environment. Scuola ForestaMi is open to everyone and not just limited to students; it is open to all those who want to walk this path together with us and learn all about trees and also from them.

Scuola ForestaMi is a project realized by Parco Nord Milano, promoted by the Municipality of Milan, with the contribution of AXA, which will be gradually enriched by the collaboration and expertise of an extensive network of individuals and entities operating in the education sector. AXA Italy is working with ForestaMi to help build a more sustainable and resilient future: to do so, AXA chooses to start with schools and younger generations. Protecting climate and biodiversity means protecting ourselves and our future, a commitment consistent with AXA's raison d'être: acting for the progress of humanity by protecting what matters.
